Tropical Berry Smoothie

This smoothie is the best breakfast during the week when you are looking to run out the house to work or on the weekends as a post-workout treat! We love that this recipe is fast, delicious, and healthy. The grain free granola on top adds the perfect amount of crunch, but you can always leave that out if you don’t want any toppings.

How to Save Time Making Your Tropical Berry Smoothie

We have come up with a few tips and tricks along the way to make smoothie prep a breeze.

Tip #1: Freeze your bananas. We like to buy a whole bunch of bananas to store in the freezer. To prep, simply peel your bananas, and lay them out on a cookie sheet. Freeze the bananas on the cookie sheet, and then store in a Ziploc freezer bag for future use. Because we freeze our bananas and use frozen fruit, we don’t have to add any ice to our smoothies.

Tip #2: Since we typically make our smoothies in 16 oz cups, we pre measure out our yogurt in the cup the night before and store in the fridge. In the morning, we toss in our fruit and Almond milk and blend.

Equipment We Recommend to Make this Smoothie

While any blender will work great for this smoothie, we personally use the Ninja Professional Countertop Blender. Our blender included the 16 Oz Cups, which pop right on the blender and make the perfect single serving. We love that we can take our smoothies on the go, and clean up is a breeze.

Love this smoothie- super easy for breakfast or a snack. I am not a fan of bananas so I just added more mango & it was still delicious 😊. Next time I’m going to add some chia seeds!
