Island Iced Tea

It is a well known fact that southerners just love their iced tea, and we are certainly no different. Over the years, we have tried a plethora of tea combinations, and fell in love with this perfect combination.

This recipe isn’t too sweet, and is just perfect served cold with a big slice of lemon to compliment the tropical flavors.

If sweet tea is what you crave, feel free to add in more sugar, or utilize your favorite sugar substitute based on your personal preferences.

To create our Island Iced Tea, we use only 5 simple ingredients:

  1. Twinings English Breakfast Tea
  2. Bigelow Green Tea
  3. Tazo Passion® Tea or Tazo Decaf Lotus Blossom Green
  4. Sugar
  5. Water

We like to make this iced tea at least once a week, and store in the fridge to enjoy at lunch time as the perfect afternoon drink. As soon as you make this tea for your friends and family, they will absolutely be hooked!

Whether you are whipping up our Instant Pot Cajun Chicken and Sausage Gumbo or Louisiana Shrimp Scampi, this iced tea is sure to please!

  1. This tea is delicious!! I’ve never thought about blending different tea bags to make a combo but it was amazing! I let it cool down then stored in the fridge to chill overnight. Will definitely make again.
