Herb Roasted Turkey Breast

If you’re looking for the perfect evening meal, this Turkey is for you! We love how easy the herb rub is to make, and how it gives your Turkey the best flavor.

How to Make the Herb Rub

To make your Herb Rub, simply combine the following ingredients:

  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Granulated Garlic
  • Paprika
  • Black Pepper
  • Dried Basil

How to Store Your Herb Rub

We premix all of the dry ingredients and keep them in an airtight Ball Glass Storage Jar. If you don’t have these jars, you can use any airtight food safe jar you already have in your kitchen.

Serving Ideas for Your Herb Roasted Turkey Breast

These herbs create the perfect Thanksgiving Turkey but are also great to use to spice a Turkey Breast or Chicken breast as well. You can also bake and slice for delicious Turkey Sandwiches. We love to serve this dish with our Oven Roasted Herb Potatoes or Instant Pot Creamy Mashed Potatoes – if you haven’t tried them yet, they are a must!

Whether you are making this Turkey breast as a main entrée for dinner, Sunday lunch, or weekday sandwiches, this will become your new go to Turkey recipe.

Description

The spices used in this Herb Roasted Turkey Breast are the perfect blend of herbs to give you an incredibly tender and juicy Turkey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Turkey Breast (or Bone In Turkey)
  • 2 tablespoons of Salt
  • 4 teaspoons of Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of Granulated Garlic
  • 2 teaspoons of Paprika
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of Black Pepper
  • 4 tablespoons of dried Basil
  • ¼ cup Lemon Juice
  • ¼ cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Mix all of the dried herbs, and store in a jar with a lid or an airtight container.
  2. If your Turkey has the skin still on it, pour the lemon juice and olive oil under the skin.  Generously sprinkle the dry herbs under the skin. If your Turkey Breast does not have skin on it, then follow the same steps as above, placing all of the ingredients directly on the Turkey Breast.
  3. Place your Turkey in an oven safe baking dish and cover. The Turkey is finished when the internal temperature reads 165 degrees.
  4. Once baking is complete, let the Turkey rest. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

The cook time will vary depending on the size of your Turkey. The Turkey is cooked when the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
