Description
Fresh Cranberry Chutney is a sweet and savory side dish with juicy plump cranberries, tart apples, sweet purple onions, and delicious raisins. This simplistic and fresh dish is easy to create, and filled with fresh, fall flavors.

- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 cup packed Brown Sugar
- 1 cup White Sugar
- 12 ounces fresh or frozen Cranberries
- 2 large tart Apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 medium Purple Onion, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup Raisins
- 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 teaspoons ground Cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine water, and both brown and white sugar.
- Cook on medium heat until the sugars are dissolved.
- Stir in the cranberries, apples, onion, raisins, vinegar and cinnamon.
- Bring to a boil and then simmer until all the cranberries have popped open, approximately 25 minutes.
