Description

This sparkling blueberry iced tea steeps Rishi Blueberry Shiso tea, then tops it with chilled sparkling water for an easy, caffeine-free drink perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 500 ml (2 cups) water, heated to 200°F
  • 1 Rishi Tea Blueberry Shiso Iced Tea sachet
  • 2 cups chilled sparkling water, or more to taste
  • Ice, for serving
  • Sweetener of choice, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the water. Heat 500 mL of water to 200°F in the tea maker.
  2. Steep. Pour the hot water into the glass teapot and add the tea sachet.
  3. Wait 5 minutes. Then remove the tea bag.
  4. Cool. Let the tea cool to room temperature, or refrigerate until chilled.
  5. Serve. Fill glasses with ice, pour the tea about halfway, then top with chilled sparkling water. Stir in sweetener if using, and serve.

Notes

  • The tea bag can be reused 2-3 times.
  • Add the sparkling water just before serving so it stays fizzy.
  • This tea is caffeine-free, so it works well for evening entertaining.
